DnD Music & Sound Effects: Stone golem battle
Drawn from our Dungeon of the Mad Mage content, the Stone Golem Battle SoundSet is set in a truly eerie dungeon-scape. A "Golems nearby" mood triggers distant bumps and grumbling voices that will put players on edge and get them casting buffs. Once the battle is underway the grinding stone vocalisations of the golems echo in the dungeon corridors in slow drawn-out breathy wails. The Dungeon Master can trigger additional louder/closer vocals, heavy thudding footfalls, and hits and misses by these strange creatures.
Battle comes to an end with one more loud stony cry and a shattering explosion as the golem literally comes apart at the seams. I suppose the bigger they are the harder they fall?! Or should that be, the harder they are, the bigger they fall?

Stone golems are magical constructs cut and chiseled from stone to appear as tall, impressive statues. Like other golems, they are nearly impervious to spells and ordinary weapons.
Stone golems display great variety in shape and form, cut and chiseled from stone to appear as tall, impressive statues. Though most bear humanoid features, stone golems can be carved in any form the sculptor can imagine. Ancient stone golems found in sealed tombs or flanking the gates of lost cities sometimes take the forms of giant beasts.
Like other golems, stone golems are nearly impervious to spells and ordinary weapons. Creatures that fight a stone golem can feel the ebb and flow of time slow down around them, almost as though they were made of stone themselves.
This SoundSet will appear by default in the Syrinscape Fantasy Player app, but you can make it appear in any of the apps by using the Campaign Manager.
