Feature Request: Output Device Selection
I have what I hope is a simple request for the next version of Syrinscape. I would like to be able to choose the device to which Syrinscape outputs audio. While I feel this is pretty standard functionality for an audio application and shouldn't really need any justification, for those curious: I use Fantasy Grounds and Skype to play DnD, for which I would like to use Syrinscape, but the way I "pipe" audio into our Skype conversations is via a combination of two programs: Audio Repeater and Virtual Audio Cable. The VAC software allows me to create stub audio devices, and Audio Repeater allows me to create a couple "splitters" that combine my mic input and audio software such as an MP3 player, which is then piped to Skype as a virtual mic. If Syrinscape allowed me to choose the audio output device, I could then use it to play the sounds to the group.
This seems like a really interesting application, and with the addition of this feature I'll be able to try it out in a real DnD environment. :) Thanks for reading.

Excellent idea...
Thanks for your suggestion.
Yes, it's definitely a bit of an obvious essential to be able to select the output device for the audio from Syrinscape. I shall add this to the definite changes for the next version.
It would be a pretty rank temporary solution, but you could run Syrinscape on a separate machine and run it in through a line-in, for the moment?!?

Hmm
I'll look into doing that. Alternatively, I'll look into software that can hijack the audio from a specific application, though I doubt it exists based on what little I know of the audio subsystem on Windows. Thanks for adding this to the list of features for the next version. I may just end up waiting for that, since I want to put together some soundscapes for my group in any case.
